Personal information is information that can be used to identify individual customers by means of names, birthdates, or phone numbers provided by customers to the Company, information about purchased products or utilized services, survey responses, inquiry and repair request data, Company website access logs, and other descriptive data, as well as information that can be used to identify individual employees of the Oak Lawn Marketing Group, business partners, and shareholders (hereafter, "employees and the like") by means of names, birthdates, work history, Specific Personal Information (information including Social Security and Tax number, also called Individual Number or "My Number" under Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedure, hereafter referred to as "Act on Individual Number" and other descriptive data.
2. Acquisition of Personal Information
Oak Lawn Marketing Group acquires personal information from customers or employees and the like when necessary, after receiving their permission and informing them of the purpose for which the information is to be used. We limit the purpose of such acquisition to the greatest extent possible and restrict its scope to the extent necessary to fulfill the stated purpose. We always acquire information by fair and lawful means. However, in the case that customers or employees and the like refuse to give their permission, we may not be able to provide our services to them.
3. Purpose for Which Personal Information Is Used
Oak Lawn Marketing Group uses personal information obtained from customers and employees and the like for the following purposes:
- To undertake DR Sales work
- To provide after‐service for purchased products
- To inform customers and employees of new products and services and provide information about promotional campaigns
- To conduct surveys and analyze survey results
- To recruit monitors and utilize monitor information
- To ask individuals to appear in videos and other advertising, and for use in advertisements following such appearances
- To create internal statistical data and analyze customer information
- To conduct sales of products (including insurance and other financial products) of our company and a third party, sales promotion, delivery, and provision of services.
- To verify individuals' identities
- To recruit new employees and manage existing employees
- Based on work that Oak Lawn Marketing Group has been entrusted with we undertake work utilizing personal information provided by the commissioned body.
4. Use of Personal Information
Oak Lawn Marketing Group's use of personal information obtained from customers and employees and the like is limited to the purpose reported prior to its acquisition. We will not use personal information for any other purpose without first obtaining the consent of the customer or employee and the like in question.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
With the exception of subcontractors that have signed a confidentiality agreement, Oak Lawn Marketing Group will not disclose personal information obtained from customers and employees and the like to third parties for uses outside the purpose reported at the time of its acquisition without the consent of the customer or employee and the like in question.
When outsourcing the processing of personal information to an outside contractor, we will implement appropriate management practices by including clauses pertaining to the confidentiality of personal information in relevant operating agreements and other contractual documents.
However, we reserve the right to disclose personal information without the consent of the customer or employee and the like in question in the event that we are required to do so for legal reasons or requested to do so by a court, police department, or other public agency.
6. Internal Structures
Similarly, we work to protect personal information obtained from customers and employees and the like by limiting the number of individuals with access to database and other media used to store personal information and implementing appropriate and rational safety countermeasures designed to minimize risks including illegal access from outside the organization, improper disclosure, loss, destruction, and tampering. Furthermore, in the event that a flaw in the way personal information obtained from customers and employees and the like is handled comes to our attention, we will act quickly to take action to rectify it and prevent a recurrence, and will otherwise undertake a continuous program of improvement.

When requested, we will disclose personal information without delay, except in cases where doing so would cause a serious obstruction to the performance of Group business, or where doing so may cause harm to life, limb, assets, or other interests.
When requested to revise, halt the use of, or delete personal information, we will investigate the request without delay and comply so long as there is a reason for doing so. Customers seeking to have their personal information deleted or its usage halted should understand that doing so will prevent them from continuing to receive service for purchased products, including returns, repairs and exchanges.
We will verify the identity of individuals requesting disclosure or revision of their personal information in order to prevent its improper disclosure or tampering or deletion by a third party.
8. Online Store Security
Information entered by customers on Oak Lawn Marketing Group's online store is sent securely to Oak Lawn Marketing Group using SSL (secure socket layer) encryption technology.
We operate a standard web server log system that stores data such as browser IP addresses and cookies in log files. These files are used as necessary, to maintain secure environment.
9. Recording of Telephone Calls
Oak Lawn Marketing Group is capable of recording calls made to the Call Center or Customer Service Center to place orders or make inquiries. This voice data is sometimes used to verify contract terms and provisions, the accuracy of order data entry, and the absence of customer service problems.
10. Customer Information (Included on Website)
Oak Lawn Marketing Group acquires customer information from contractees in the course of offering product order processing services and stores it for a fixed period of time.
11. Personal Information from Job Applicants (Included on Website)
Oak Lawn Marketing Group acquires and stores personal information from job applicants in the course of its recruiting activities. We will not disclose this information to any third party without the consent of the individual in question, except in circumstances where such disclosure is recognized by the law. Information from rejected applicants is discarded and deleted by appropriate means after the candidate screening process is complete.
12. Personal Information from Employees
Oak Lawn Marketing Group acquires and stores personal information from employees and the like for employment and management purposes. Also, Oak Lawn Marketing Group uses Specific Personal Information only for processing social security and tax affairs under Act on Individual Number. We will not disclose this information to any third party without the consent of the employee and the like in question, except as necessary in the conduct of our business operations.
